After tropical flowers, the starfish, or sea star, is a probably second in popularity as a design element choice for couples planning a beach wedding ceremony. Because of this, I’ve focused on including the starfish in many designs in the Sandpiper Wedding store. And starfish wedding invitations have sold quite well.
My designs are printed on Zazzle paper, which gets high marks from customers. With optional beautiful and elegant upgrades, such as pearl and champagne shimmer and felt paper, a wedding invitation from Zazzle is just as beautiful as any purchased at a specialty wedding store. There is even a “high definition” printing option.
Create reply cards, favor tags, personal wine labels, pre and post ceremony party invitations, thank-you cards, and much more to match every invitation design. If the item you need is not showing up in the design collection, (because it can be difficult, as a designer, to keep up with all the new products offered), shoot me an e-mail (email@example.com) and I’ll gladly make it for you.
So here we go…a collection of our starfish wedding invitation variety. Some designs are brand new, and others are older favorites which have been selling well throughout the years.
Every invitation comes standard with white envelopes, with decorated envelopes as an additional option.
I am lovin’ this new lucite green color. New for 2015, the Sea Green wedding invitation set (click the image to view the entire set) features popular starfish in a large border on the invitations. The invitation reply cards come in simple “accept / decline” or with the option to add a list of entree choices. Guests can choose from 2 or 3 meals and supply that information along with their response.
This new designer stationery set has save-the-date stickers, custom postage stamps, thank you cards, and favor labels. We are in the process of adding more products, so ask if you don’t see what you are looking for! One of the new products we can now offer are belly bands. These are strips of paper that will be wrapped around a card set to hold it in place. Usually the bands are decorated in the theme of the invitations.
It’s a pretty, light green color which is perfect for Spring and Summer weddings. The fact that it’s not a color that is usually chosen for beach weddings gives brides a unique option, and will keep with the current trend as well. Lucite is one of Pantone’s chosen colors for 2015.
If you are planning an elegant, beach themed, bridal shower, the new champagne colored starfish invitations could fit the bill (pics below). They will come with white invitations at no extra charge, but we offer the choice to upgrade with matching A7 size envelopes with the same starfish on the flap. This envelope gives you the option to add a return address to the front corner.
I attended such a fun bridal shower years ago. Too bad I can’t remember any of the games we played, but they were so unique that I wish I had written them down to share now. However, there are places online to find some good party games to fit your theme or your idea of a good time. Visit Celebrations.com for some cute ideas for games.
Sometimes the bride-to-be is not the game-playing type so it’s a good idea to grant her wishes if she insists on no games.
Everyone loves to see what the engaged lady receives for gifts, but if she isn’t comfortable having all eyes upon her as she opens gifts there are options for that as well. Read this page at The Knot where they list options for opening gifts at the shower to make it not quite so boring for the attendees.
This small-sized sea stars card is a great way to say thank you to for all of the wonderful wedding gifts you have received. The front of this elegant flat, 5×4 inch card, portrays a beach themed design with blue and tan sea stars on a blue ribbon with brown script. (The reverse is blank). All text is easy to change or delete. The card displayed is made of a “felt cream” paper which may be changed to linen, recycled paper, or metallic. Each invitation comes with a white envelope. Add a matching starfish stamp. Take a look at it here!
If you like this “starfish gathering” design, then be sure to take a look at the other matching products such as invitations, reply cards, and even envelopes at the Sandpiper Wedding Store.
Blue ocean water in the background and two big, white, pencil starfish decorate this round, ceramic ornament. Customize with names on the front and add a personal line of text to the back. In my example, I wrote, “Our first Christmas in Florida”, but you can change that to anything appropriate for your life, such as “First Christmas together”, “25th Anniversary”, “Vacation in Hawaii”, or whatever. Add the year in the space provided too. This design has a shadow effect and both lines of text must be changed.
If you’d like to add a photo to an ornament, I have those too. Photo Ornaments All Ornaments
